POST-PROCEEDINGS Papers

ICTERI Steering Committee selects the best papers among those published in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference. The selection is done collegially based on the opinions of the Session Chairs and the members of the Steering Committee. Apart of the paper quality, they consider:

  • How well the paper was presented
  • Did it invoke an interesting discussion
  • Does it have potential for further extension and refinement in short term

The Program Chair(s) then invite(s) the authors of these selected papers to prepare and submit their refined and extended versions for review. It is supposed that the refined and extended version of a paper differs substantially (at least by 30 percent) from the paper published in the conference proceedings. the differences (refinements and extensions) are suggested in the following aspects, if applicable:

  • The review of the related work is extended and refined
  • The proofs of the statements are included
  • The description of the developed software is presented in a substantially more elaborated way
  • New dataset(s) are used for experimental evaluation; the results are compared to the previous ones
  • New evaluation experiment(s) are reported and their results discussed
  • New use case(s) are presented

It is also requested that the authors choose a new title for their new (revised and extended) paper.

The page limit for a refined and extended version is 25 LNCS/CCIS pages.

The authors are requested to provide the SYNOPSIS of their revisions and extensions in their submission. The synopsis is placed before the paper in the submission PDF file.

Please be informed, that the papers are included in the post-proceedings only based on the result of the new round of reviews. Therefore, the authors invited to the post-proceedings are strongly suggested to revisit the comments they received in the reviews of their conference papers in order to extend their chances to be accepted for the post-proceedings.

ICTERI post-proceedings are published in the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series by Springer, who are one of the major publishers of scientific literature in the World.
