Evaluations

All submissions to ICTERI 2019 Main Conference and its Satellite Events are peer-evaluated by the members of the respective Program Committees. Below, the evaluation process of the Main Conference is outlined. The evaluations of the Satellite Events submissions follow very similar procedures.

Evaluations of the conference submissions are performed within the Review Phase (see also the PROCESS and Milestones page). The Review Phase is performed by the members of the Conference Program Committee (PC) and managed by the Program Chairs. This phase results in the ranked list of submissions in each category, with the rank based on the grounded evaluations of the papers according to the specified Evaluation Criteria. Only the best submissions, which have received positive evaluations by the Program Committee members, are accepted to be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings. The decision on accepting or rejecting papers is taken by the Program Committee Chairs. This phase is accomplished by the Acceptance Notification deadline for the respective Call. This phase is the major quality filter of the conference which allows to create a high-quality and attractive scientific and technical program.

Please be reminded that the evaluation criteria and allowed paper types for the satellite events of ICTERI 2019 may differ from those of the Main ICTERI 2019 conference. Please check the respective Calls (for Workshop Papers, PhD Symposium Papers, or Posters and Demos) for the details.

Milestones:

The Review Phase is accomplished for the author after she or he has received the email message from the EasyChair system notifying about the acceptance or rejection of their draft contribution submitted in the previous phase. This message also contains the reviews by the ICTERI 2018 PC members.
